I have taken the last 2 years really focusing on running, rowing, and lifting either 5/3/1 or Tactical Barbell style. However, I'm missing some of the programming aspects of Crossfit, and some of my gear at home is just being unused! WebProgramming is metcon based and is somewhat poor imo. You will have a barbell or dumbbell in your hand almost everyday. The weight ranges are almost always the same so if the metcon asks you to do 150 clean and jerk, it will be the same as say 3 rounds of 10 c and j, 20 burpees, 30 double unders.
