Webb17 jan. 2007 · The only differences would be in the quality of the component - one 250K pot is electronically pretty much the same as another. Rule of thumb is that the higher the resistence value on the pot the brighter it ought to sound. I don't know your bass at all, but I have to assume that it is loaded with single coils. As you lower the pot, bass is progressively removed, with the maximum-cut setting defined by the cap’s value. (It doesn’t matter if your other pots are 250k rather than 500k. You might as well do all the pots and put in a quality Switchcraft input jack too. 250K audio taper is the standard for passive Fender's.
